As the Plumbing Estimator, you will review project plans and specifications to meet customer expections by estimating and acquiring competitive pricing. An Ideal Candidate witll have 5+ years construction with 5 years commercial/industrial plumbing project estimating
Inspect plans, plan detailed quantity surveys and complete scope
Prepare master budgets, cost models for projects, prepare abstract project estimates
Accurately take-off and quote self-performing work
Oversee the proposal process from conception to presentation
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Solicit, negotiate pricing and analyze estimates from subcontractor
Review all incoming pricing for accuracy and completeness
Maintain relationships with key subcontractors and supplier partners
Review estimated vs. actual costs throughout the project life cycle
Create proper bid packages and bid alternate strategies
Valid Drivers License
Education from College, Trade school, or Military
3+ years of Construction with at least 5 years of Commercial/Industrial Plumbing project estimating
Current plumbing license / must understand plumbing industry
Ability to understand local codes and utilize available resources for solutions
Timberline Software for project estimates
Reliable, detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Efficient management skills to enhance team productivity and work standards.
