Job Title: Industrial Design Engineer
Location: Torrington, CT
Salary: $80K - $125K
Requirements: B.S. in Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, etc.) / 2+ years technical design experience / Strong with AutoCAD or similar CAD program

- Previous experiencing working with soft good product lines or apparel
- Ability to develop design criteria for products - test methods, quality standards, and milestones
- Create and maintain product design information - product drawings, specifications, bills of material, and routing
- Work with customers on ever-evolving product designs and specifications
- Evaluate and measure feasibility, costs, and requirements of designs and applications
- Utilize engineering principles to assist in the planning and design of products
- Perform product engineering development and product support activities as needed
- Prepare technical documentation such as General Parts Documents for production team
What You Need for this Position
- B.S. in Engineering discipline
- Previous experience in industrial engineering and automated manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong with AutoCAD or similar CAD program
- Strong organization skills; ability to effectively prioritize and executes tasks
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and complete projects on time
- Excellent problem solving skills
